Yes. One set of margins applies to every page. If some pages need a different crop, pull them into their own file with Split PDF, crop each file, then join them again with Merge PDF.
No. Cropping changes the page's crop box, so anything outside it is hidden but still in the file, and someone can bring it back. To remove text or images for good, use Redact PDF instead.
Yes. Margins are measured from the edges of the full page, not from an earlier crop. Run the cropped file through the tool again with all four margins set to 0 to show the whole page again.
Millimetres, inches and points. One inch is 72 points or 25.4 millimetres. If the margins add up to more than a page's width or height, the tool stops and names the page instead of saving a broken file.
Yes. Only the crop box changes, so bookmarks, hyperlinks, form fields and annotations stay in the file.
Not directly. The tool cannot open an encrypted PDF, so remove the password first and crop the copy without it.
