Edit, compare, and compress PDFs in your browser

Edit text in place with the PDF Editor, or see exactly what changed between two versions of a contract or drawing with Compare PDF. Single jobs have their own pages: compress a scan to fit an email, merge files into one, or split out the pages you need.

Your files never leave your device.

PDF Editor

Edit text in place, sign, redact, fill forms, and reorganize PDF files in your browser — all on your device. No upload, no subscription.

Compare PDF

Side-by-side or overlay PDF diff driven by one engine that reads each file into a structured model — text, vector geometry, images, form fields, annotations — and compares the models. Moves show as moves, edits show only where they happened, and any PDF type works without picking a mode.

Compress PDF

Shrink a scanned or image-heavy PDF by redrawing each page as a JPEG at a lower resolution. Pick a preset and see the size saved.

Merge PDF

Combine PDFs into one document. Drag the files into order, remove any you do not need, and export the merged PDF in one click.

Split PDF

Split a PDF by page range, by every N pages, or by extracting specific pages into their own files — without uploading the source.

Sign PDF

Add typed, drawn, or image-based signatures to a PDF. Drag onto any page, resize, and download the signed file — no account needed.

OCR PDF

Run OCR on scanned or photographed PDFs to make them searchable. Recognises the text in each page image and embeds a hidden text layer for copy and search.

Redact PDF

Permanently remove sensitive text, names, or regions from a PDF. Burned-in redactions — the underlying content is gone, not just hidden.

Rotate PDF

Rotate every page or selected pages in a PDF by 90, 180, or 270 degrees. Preview each page before saving the rotated copy.

Unlock PDF

Remove the open password from a PDF you own. Drop in the file, type the password once, and download an unlocked copy.

Protect PDF

Add an open password to a PDF (AES-256) and set print, copy and edit permissions.

Crop PDF

Trim the same top, right, bottom and left margins from every page of a PDF, measured in millimetres, inches or points.

Extract PDF Pages

Pull specific pages out of a PDF into a new document. Pick pages visually or by range — keep the original untouched.

Image to PDF

Combine JPG, PNG, HEIC, or WebP images into a single PDF. Reorder pages, set page size, margins, and orientation before exporting.

Scan to PDF

Use your phone or webcam as a document scanner. Snap each page, auto-crop and straighten it, apply grayscale or black-and-white, build a multi-page PDF.

Reorder PDF

Drag-and-drop reorder, duplicate, or delete pages in a PDF. Visual page grid with thumbnails — save the reordered PDF in one click.

Delete PDF Pages

Remove pages from a PDF in a visual page grid. Multi-select, preview each removal, and download the trimmed file in one click.

Annotate PDF

Highlight, underline, draw, and add text and sticky notes on a PDF in your browser, then download the marked-up copy.

Add PDF Header & Footer

Add page numbers, dates, titles, or custom text to PDF headers and footers. Position, font, and per-section settings.

Watermark PDF

Add text or image watermarks to every page of a PDF. Tile, opacity, rotation, and position controls — burned in or as an overlay.

PDF Grayscale

Convert a colour PDF to grayscale for ink-saving prints or black-and-white submissions. Pick the pages, the mode and the resolution.

Flatten PDF

Flatten a PDF so form fields, annotations, and signatures become permanent page content — no more editable layers downstream.

Resize PDF

Resize PDF pages to A4, US Letter, A3, or a custom size. Scale content proportionally or fit-to-page with a chosen margin.

PDF Metadata Editor

Edit PDF title, author, subject, keywords, and creation date. Strip identifying metadata before sharing the file.

PDF Bates Numbering

Add Bates numbers to legal-style PDFs — prefix, start number, position, and font controls. Sequential page numbering for discovery.

Deskew PDF

Auto-straighten skewed scans inside a PDF. Detects each page rotation and corrects it — useful for photographed or batch-scanned documents.

Extract PDF Images

Extract every embedded image from a PDF and download them as a ZIP. Preserves original resolution and format.

Extract PDF Tables

Detect tables in a PDF and export them as CSV or Excel. Visual selection mode for tricky layouts that auto-detection misses.

Extract PDF Text

Pull plain text out of a PDF for copying, search, or feeding to another tool. Preserves reading order without uploading the file.

HTML to PDF

Convert HTML or a live URL into a PDF. Pick page size, margins, headers and footers — the layout matches print preview.

PDF Bookmarks Editor

Add, rename, reorder, or delete PDF bookmarks (the navigation tree). Keeps the rest of the document untouched.

PDF N-Up

Place 2, 4, or more PDF pages onto each output sheet (n-up layout). Saves paper for handouts and proofs without re-rasterising.

Repair PDF

Recover corrupt or partial PDFs. Forgiving parser + clean re-save fixes broken cross-reference tables, post-EOF junk, missing trailers.

About these PDF tools

Compare two versions of a contract or drawing, edit text in place, and compress, merge, split, sign, or OCR a PDF, all in a browser tab. Shrink a scanned file to fit an email, pull specific pages out of a contract for a client, combine a batch of scanned receipts into one file, or line up two revisions of a drawing to see what moved and what changed. Merging and splitting copy pages only, so bookmarks and fillable form fields are not kept, and compression redraws each page as an image to save space, so its text is no longer selectable. Most PDF tools take files up to 100 MB; OCR and a few other heavy jobs take up to 50 MB. Because the work happens on your device, these tools also run inside corporate networks that block uploads and keep working without a connection once a page has loaded. Pin any tool to your home screen to open it in one tap next time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Every PDF tool runs entirely in your browser. Your documents never leave your device; the processing happens right on your computer.

Is there a file size limit for PDF processing?

Yes. Most PDF tools take files up to 100 MB. OCR, deskew, table extraction, and image-to-PDF take up to 50 MB, and Compare PDF takes drawing-set files of up to 150 MB on a desktop. The limits come from the memory a browser tab can use, not from a server quota.

Can I process multiple PDFs at once?

Yes. Most PDF tools support batch processing — select multiple files and they will be processed in sequence.

Do the PDF tools preserve bookmarks and form fields?

Not in every tool. Merge PDF and Split PDF copy pages only, so bookmarks are dropped and form fields are no longer fillable. Compress PDF redraws each page as an image to save space, so it drops them too, along with links and selectable text.
